Place the sample thermal paper roll in the printer, with the label side facing down, onto the spool. Remove the printer and its accessories from the box. Select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint from Use dropdown list. Tap Add. Suppose you’ve just received your printer and haven’t set it up yet. On the Add screen, select the TS6100 series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column. Tap Add Printer on the Add Printer screen. The router being used and its network settings determines whether or not this screen appears. After the connections are complete, open the wireless setup by running the Wireless Setting application. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the printer, and then connect the other end to the Mac computer. Use the printer setup assistant to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Install the Mac software that came with the printer, and make sure that it includes a printer setup assistant. If there are no printers already installed, you will be prompted to add a new printer, click the Add button to add a new printer. Connect the printer to your Mac using the appropriate USB cable.
